* about Rob *
Rob York is 41 and has been listening to and playing music
most of his life, and is now playing rhythm guitar and bass
with Brent Bennett and Don Spade. Rob's first guitar was a
red sunburst Roy Rogers model complete with rope binding
and pictures of wild Indians -- very cool. His father taught
him most of the basic guitar technique; the rest he says he
picked up from "hanging around Brent." The two have
co-written songs for about 15 years. Writing is still the part
of music that Rob likes best. Brent and Rob have been part
of Stones Crossing off and on for several years, bringing
professionalism and good musicianship to their shows. Rob
says they always have a good time, and he hopes you enjoy
it too.
